Great looking Javelin AMX, the last year, only built 22,536 Javelins of which 4,980 were AMX's. The Javelin only made money for AMC in 68 and 69 as they needed to sell 35,000 yearly to break even. No cowl induction for the last year it did add some extra horsepower to the 360 and 401 engines. I am original owner of a 1973 Javelin AMX, ordered it new March of 73, took 7 weeks to build and ship to dealer. 401 with cowl induction and 4-speed. Just love the style and rarity of the Javelin, most people didn't like the restyle of 1971 and stayed away.
